Tracking system usage with Google Analytics can be completed with the following user role(s):
- System Admin
Getting the code
Step 1. Go to http://www.google.com/analytics/
Step 2. Sign up if you have not already.
Step 3. Ensure you are logged in.
Note: You will need to fill out the form with the website details to get your Tracking ID.
Step 4. Make a note of your Tracking ID.
Applying the code
Step 1. Click on the ‘Analytics’ option from the menu on the left hand side.
Step 2. Enter in the code from Google Analytics.
Step 3. Click ‘Save’.

With the two services linked, Google Analytics can track anonymous usage data from your Myprogress system. It is now possible to build detailed dashboards and reports within Google Analytics to provide rich information about how users are interacting with your assessments.
