Localisation and Multi-Language Support

MyKnowledgeMap is committed to making MyProgress accessible to all users, including multi-languages and bilingual learners, staff, and practice partners.

Multi-language support is already built into the core of the platform, helping institutions meet their Language obligations while providing a consistent experience for everyone who uses MyProgress.

What is Localisation?

Localisation allows MyProgress to display content in different languages, giving users a more accessible and familiar experience.

This includes both the system itself and the content that institutions create within it.

Welsh support is available across a wide range of areas, including:

• Navigation menus and interface labels
• Forms and portfolio content
• System notifications and communications

• User-facing screens throughout the platform

   

How Language Support Works

MyProgress has been designed so that Welsh and some other pre-defined languages, can be used as part of everyday system use, rather than as an add-on.  Depending on how your organisation has configured the platform, users may see:

• English-only content
• Language specific, eg. Welsh or French -only content
• Bilingual content, allowing users to work comfortably in either language

This enables universities and practice partners to provide an inclusive experience while meeting organisational and regulatory requirements.

Creating Bilingual Content

Administrators can configure forms, portfolio content and other learner-facing resources to support Welsh and some other languages alongside English.

This allows institutions to deliver a consistent bilingual experience throughout the learner journey, from enrolment through to assessment and placement.

Our Commitment

Multi-language support is an important part of our ongoing product development.

Our commitment isn't static—we continue to invest in and expand our localisation capability. Broader multilingual support is already planned for a future release, reflecting our long-term goal of making MyProgress accessible to a genuinely international and multilingual user base.

As MyProgress evolves, we'll continue enhancing localisation to support an increasing number of languages while maintaining the high-quality user experience our customers expect.
